While many people associate 4-H projects exclusively with animal rearing and agricultural pursuits, non-animal project areas at Santa Ynez 4-H offer members a surprisingly broad and worthwhile set of educational and service experiences.

Join 4-H!

There are over 7 million
4-Hers in the United States alone, making 4-H the largest out-of-school youth program. Everyone, ages 5 through nineteen, can participate in the 4-H program.

In 4-H, youth learn life skills they will benefit from forever. Most 4-H programs center around three areas, leadership, citizenship, and life skills.
