Santa Barbara Fair & Expo

4-H members have many excellent opportunities to educate visitors about their projects, especially on Thursday at Fair & Expo.

In 2007, school tour day is scheduled for Thursday, April 26 between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Self-guided tours include the OK Corral Exhibit Hall and livestock areas, and last about one hour.

Whether you come to Santa Barbara Fair & Expo to show off your animals in the barn area — or else to display a still exhibit in one of the halls — we’re proud to have such a fine contingent of Santa Ynez 4-H youth on hand each year to educate, to serve and to share.

Each April, the general public is treated to an up close look at our award-winning dairy goats, sheep, beef, swine, and rabbits, and beginning in 2007, we’re hopeful that some of you will consider staging non-animal displays and exhibits as well in such categories as home economics, scrapbooks, gift baskets, table settings, science, arts and crafts, photography, literature and history.
