An initial meeting in the fall kicks off the action, in what is a highly interactive course of theater games, diction and projection practice, character study, skit production, and finally, presentation.

While the only real goal is to simply enjoy the comradery and closeness that belonging to a dedicated team can bring, each year our dramatists seek to share their talents publicly, staging one well-rehearsed skit for parents, relatives and friends, at County Presentation Day in Santa Barbara — at the Earl Warren Showgrounds.

Parents and members from 4-H clubs throughout Santa Barbara County are on hand for the annual event, which affords 4-Hers ample opportunity to demonstrate skills in various disciplines, including: public speaking, story telling, mock trials, song leading, and presentations — and as well, something 4-H affectionately calls Share the Fun.
