Community
Citizenship development is a basic part of 4-H, and is reflected in many projects and activities conducted by 4-H members and their leaders.
As a non-profit organization, 4-H derives much of its yearly operating income from fundraising activities and community donations; Santa Ynez 4-H builds on these concepts by asking each project leader to incorporate some sort of service learning component into their programs as well.
